Who We Are: HMN Beings
Those of us with Home More Network believe that we are all connected to one another as a people, as nodes and to our home—Mother Earth… that everyone is perfectly imperfect with potential for growth and change.
We believe that Nature + Nuture go hand-in-hand and that we are all capable of working together to resolve homelessness if we are open and willing.
Home More Network is a 501 (c)(3) support network addressing Habitat + Humanity Restoration by way of environmental projects and social services for people experiencing chapters without housing.
“When we, as a collective care for people and for our world with kindness, love, dignity, and respect then all will flourish.”

Support Our Unhoused Neighbors in Preparing to Exit China Hat: Vehicle Flex Funding Campaign
04/2025
At Home More Network, we are deeply concerned about the imminent eviction of up to 200 unhoused neighbors from the Deschutes National Forest due to the U.S. Forest Service's planned closure of the Cabin Butte area. Many of these individuals have called the forest their home for years, and now they face the daunting challenge of securing affordable housing or at least a safe place to relocate. As advocates for our vulnerable community members—many of whom survive periods without housing due to disabilities or serious medical conditions—we feel a moral obligation to support them during this critical transition.
Join Our Fundraising Campaign
In response to this urgent need, we are launching a fundraising campaign focused on providing essential vehicle-related support through our Vehicle Flex Funding program. For many individuals living in their vehicles, these cars are not just transportation; they serve as their primary shelter. Many are at risk of losing their trailers or vehicles if they are unable to move them from China Hat prior to the upcoming May 1st closure. Your generous contributions will help cover crucial expenses to assist clients in keeping their vehicles, including:
- Fuel or gas cards
- Vehicle repairs and parts
- Tow services for RVs, trailers, and vehicles
- DMV fees
By alleviating these financial burdens, we can empower individuals and families to safely relocate and start anew. This is a pivotal moment for our community, and we urgently need your support to help those with nowhere else to turn.
Call for Local Partnerships
If you own a local mechanic shop or towing company, we invite you to join us in this vital initiative. Your expertise and resources can profoundly impact the lives of those we aim to support. Together, we can ensure that our community members facing eviction receive the vehicle assistance they desperately need during this transitional period.
How You Can Help
1. Donate: Every dollar counts! Your financial contributions will directly benefit our clients through our Vehicle Flex Funding program and significantly improve the lives of those facing displacement. All donations, whether in-kind or monetary, are 100% tax-deductible.
2. Spread the Word: Share our campaign with your networks. The more people who learn about our efforts, the more support we can gather for our unhoused neighbors prior to the pending May 1st closure of China Hat Road.
3. Get Involved: If you're interested in partnering with us or have vehicle related services that can be offered to our clients including vehicle repairs or towing services, please reach out as soon as possible! Your involvement could be the key to providing essential assistance to those in need.
Together, We Can Make a Difference
We urge you to stand with us in support of our unhoused clients during this critical time. By joining together as a community, we can provide a lifeline for our neighbors in need and help them navigate this challenging situation toward more stable living environments.
Thank you for considering this important collaboration. Your support is invaluable, and together, we can make a lasting impact!
